This groove controller, from the tropical Island of Jamaica will get you jumping with his vigorous, energetic style of reggae. He started his first gig at a house party with one black Gemini turntable, and later learning how to mix with two. From an early age DJ Fresh was inspired by a local band and played the drums from the age of twelve. He later ventured onto the club scene, played various types of music that launched his career off the Island of Jamaica to different parts of the world. He got the name DJ Fresh by being one of the first local Disc jockey to scratch with Reggae. This landed him a role as the main selector on the sound (Street Hawk) now known as King Courage which currently function mainly in Montego Bay Jamaica. Fresh developed a talent for singing/song writing and producing in which he established his record label (Fresh Productions). His excellent ear and his love for music have allowed him to work with various established artists throughout the world. Prior to making it big in the music industry, artist like Jovie Rockwell, Little Hero, Galexy P, Shanna presently known as Etana, Merceless, Sasha and more; enjoyed working with DJ.Fresh. Some of those times were spent in the garage on the original sound system (Street Hawk) and other time spent in DJ Fresh home studio. Currently DJ Fresh can be heard playing Reggae on 104-7 THE FLAME on Sunday nights from 8 p.m. til midnight.
